PEUGEOT-3008-GT

A few weeks after its debut, the new Peugeot 3008 SUV is unveiled in its most dynamic and exclusive version - the GT. A truly modern expression of driving pleasure, aimed at individuals who are looking for a new driving experience, the GT version crowns the brand's new SUV range. Exclusively equipped with the 2.0-litre BlueHDi 180 S&S (Stop&Start) EAT6 (Efficient Automatic Transmission with 6-speed transmission) providing a high level of performance.

To complement the GT, a ‘GT Line’ trim-level is offered on alternative engine versions, with a ‘sporty’ and ‘top-of-the-range’ appearance. The new Peugeot 3008 SUV, GT Line and GT versions, are a key part of the brand's move up-market and will be available to order from November 2016, with UK deliveries commencing from January 2017.

Both GT Line and GT trim levels can be specified with the distinctive ‘Coupe Franche’ paint option - a characteristic Peugeot visual signature.

Peugeot has introduced the GT version of its new 3008 SUV in response to a growing demand for well-specified, top-spec vehicles with high equipment levels, great performance and efficiency, and desirable capabilities. The GT model is positioned as the top-of-the-range 3008 SUV model, with its exclusive and resolutely dynamic proposition, while at the same time being perfectly usable on a day-to-day basis. Aimed at driving enthusiasts craving sophistication, the new Peugeot 3008 SUV GT offers to combine all the qualities of the range's new SUV with an assertive style, an impressive interior that includes the innovative new Peugeot i-Cockpit, with configurable 12.3 inch digital instrument panel.

The GT letters are emblematic in the history of Peugeot cars and reference them as a special product of desire, identified with distinction and in recent times has greatly helped to drive the brand upmarket, enhancing the status of the driver.

The exterior design of the new Peugeot 3008 SUV is clean, modern and identifiable, adopting all the traditional characteristics of the SUV and is expressive with a charming appearance.

Viewed from the front, an exclusive sporty grille is surrounded by a bi-aspect ‘Sanded Chrome’ (other versions are chrome), proudly framing the company's lion logo in the centre of a chequered chrome radiator grille.

The overall effect is rounded off by the exclusive bumper design, with more prominent features, combined with the full LED headlights that are more efficient and reduce driver eye fatigue. An elegant profile is highlighted by the line of the stainless steel rear quarter light and window trim finisher. Along with the stainless steel trim which runs along the roof to the rear spoiler, they frame the glazed surfaces with streamlined elegance. The proportions to give it a lower and more dynamic look than the majority of its competitors. GT Line models feature 18” ‘Detroit’ matt Haria alloy wheels to further enhance the sporting theme.
