This year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed (June 23-26) has been chosen to host the UK debut of the much-anticipated Lexus LC luxury coupe.
Unveiled to the world at the Detroit Motor Show earlier this year, the Lexus LC will take pride of place as a display on Lexus’s stand but will also be driven up Goodwood’s famous hillclimb course by a trio of internationally-acclaimed racing drivers – Mike Conway, Scott Pruett and ex-F1 driver Alex Wurz.
The drivers will demonstrate a V8-powered LC 500 example of the striking new flagship coupe in the ‘First Glance’ category on the hill.
The car, which goes on sale in Spring 2017, will officially make its UK bow as a static display on the Press and Preview Day on Thursday, June 23, meaning visitors that day will get a sneak preview of the car before the crowds descend on the Goodwood estate for the main Festival weekend.
