Slated for a January, 2016 launch, Tata Motors is all geared up to roll out the much awaited entry level hatch Zica with a price tag of around Rs 3-4 lakh.


The Zica hatchback is built on Indica’s XO platform, and will be manufactured at the company’s Sanand facility. Tata Zica will be available in both petrol and diesel engine options, while the diesel version will be a new three-cylinder unit.




The Zica will get a 1.2-litre petrol engine that is expected to make in the region of 85PS of peak power and about 110Nm of peak torque. A three-cylinder 1.05-litre turbocharged diesel motor will also be available to make just under 70PS of peak power and about 140Nm of peak torque.
