BMW fans have reasons to rejoice as the German carmaker launches not one but two hot M machines - M3 sedan and M4 Coupe at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida. Iconic Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar unveiled the all-new BMW M3 and the all-new BMW M4 Coupe in the presence of Philipp von Sahr, President, BMW Group India. The BMW M3 and M4 will take on the new Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG (coming next year) and V6 Jaguar F-Type respectively.


Both the M3 and M4 are powered by 2,979cc in-line 6-cylinder bi-turbo engine producing 431 PS of peak power between 5500-7300 rpm and 560 Nm of peak torque from 1850-5500rpm. Power goes to the rear wheels through a a seven-speed M double clutch gearbox and returns a claimed mileage of 10.75 kmpl. The M machines can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.1 seconds and boasts of a top speed of 250 kmph.
