Honda-LIVO

HMSI President and CEO Keita Muramatsu with Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing Y. S. Guleria at the launch of Honda Livo

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the new 110cc LIVO from Rs 52,989 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

LIVO is powered by 110cc 4-stroke Advanced Honda engine that comes with Honda Eco Technology (HET), Honda claims that the New LIVO will deliver a class leading mileage of 74 kmpl (Mileage on Honda Mode).

“LIVO is developed keeping in mind the very start of motorcycling – that is the 100-110cc displacement segment which is most often the first bike of majority of India. It features one of the longest wheelbase in the segment and a higher ground clearance for practical and comfortable usage on all types of Indian roads,” informed Y. S. Guleria, Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India.

LIVO has a longer wheel base, and the 5-step adjustable rear suspension, which will provide more stability on bad roads & at higher speeds. The increased ground clearance also allows it to comfortably tackle bad roads.

Considering the hazardous and uneven road-conditions in India, Honda has equipped the new LIVO with tubeless tyres, reducing the chances of immediate deflation in case of puncture. During dense traffic requiring frequent gear shifts, full gear lever helps make riding convenient. The viscous filter does not need to be cleaned regularly and requires only to be replaced after 16000 kms. The battery is maintenance free and doesn’t require a top-up, invalidating the chances of leakage completely.

The new LIVO comes in four stunning colors – Athletic Blue Metallic, Pearl Amazing White, Sunset Brown Metallic & Black; and is available for sale in two variants Self-Drum-Alloy and Self-Disc-Alloy. The new LIVO is priced at Rs 52,989 for Self-Drum-Alloy; and Rs.55,489 for Self-Disc-Alloy (Ex-showroom, Delhi).
