Mercedes-Benz-E-Class-CDI

Eberhard Kern, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India and Ralf Mungenast, Director, International Inbound Supply Chain, Daimler AG at the launch of the Mercedes-Benz E 350 CDI

 

Following its ‘Top of Pyramid’ product strategy for the Indian customer, German luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz India has launched the E 350 CDI at its Pune plant in the presence of Eberhard Kern, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India and Ralf Mungenast, Director, International Inbound Supply Chain, Daimler AG.

 

The new E 350 CDI is priced at Rs 57.42 lakh and is available across all Mercedes-Benz showrooms across India. The E 350 CDI is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine that produces 265 PS of maximum power at 3800 rpm and churns out 620Nm of peak torque at 1600-2400 rpm. The new E 350 CDI can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.6 seconds.

Rolled out of our state-of-art Pune Plant, the new E 350 CDI delivers the highest benchmark in terms of quality, performance, safety and comfort. With its exciting design, refined sportiness, and a powerful V6 diesel engine, the E 350 CDI is a much awaited product in our successful luxury sedan portfolio, and we are very excited to launch this product. The E-Class remains our highest selling luxury sedan in India and with the addition of the new E 350 CDI; we further consolidate our lead in the E-Class portfolio as we offer our customers a feature rich, top-end luxury sedan that exemplifies modern luxury at its best.”

 

The Mercedes-Benz E 350 CDI comes equipped with Intelligent Assistance Systems that comprises Eco Start-Stop function as standard and also features Intelligent Lighting Systems featuring variable light distribution with cornering function, Adaptive high beam assist 360 degree camera, Attention Assist, Comand Online and a tyre pressure loss warning system.

The E-Class has the distinction of being the highest selling product in Mercedes-Benz India’s portfolio with over 25,000 units on Indian roads.
