datsun go launched at rs 3.12 lakh


Datsun India has launched its first global product, the Go hatchback, in the country at a starting price of Rs 3.12 lakh. The new Datsun Go is available in a total of three different variants, called ‘D’, ‘A’ and ‘T’.


Entry-level D variant gets digital tachometer, drive computer that displays instantaneous fuel economy, average fuel economy and distance to empty, Follow-me-home headlamps, speed sensitive wipers and silver finish front radiator grille. The mid-level A variant adds an air conditioner with filter, chrome front grille, body coloured bumpers and Jacquard seat upholstery to the equation. The top of the line T variant comes with speed sensitive electric power steering, front power windows, Mobile Docking Station (MDS) with amplifier, universal mobile holder, aux-in and USB charger, front speakers, central locking and full wheel covers.

Safety features like ABS or airbags are not offered even as an option on any of the variants.


However, Datsun India is offering a two-year unlimited-mileage warranty on the new Go, which can be extended for a further two years. Road-side assistance will be offered at more than 3,000 locations across India.


The three new Datsun Go variants are:

D = Rs 3,12,270

A = Rs 3,46,482

T = Rs 3,69,999


The new Go is available immediately at all 125 Nissan dealers across the country. The Datsun Go is available in four colours.

Datsun redi-GO Sport Launched In India

Datsun is introducing a new sport version of redi-GO to celebrate the festive season in India. The Datsun redi-GO Sport is a limited edition dressed with bold stripes and accents on the exterior. The sporty-themed redi-GO is priced at Rs 3, 49,479 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and will be available for sale during the festive season. Datsun also announced today that Olympic medalist Sakshi Malik will be the face of the Datsun redi-GO Sport.
