Nissan Motor India Pvt Ltd (NMIPL) has re-launched the Evalia MPV, packing in extra features that customers were demanding. The refreshed Evalia is now available with sliding windows on the rear doors, captain chairs in the middle row, and a USB-capable stereo. Additionally, customers can opt for a roof-mounted AC blower as well.

 

Announcing the changes in Evalia, Kenichiro Yomura, President, Nissan India Operations said, “New features in Evalia reinforce Nissan’s commitment to the Indian market and consumers. We have listened to our customers closely and have responded to their requirements in a very short span of time. Nissan is one of the most innovative car brands in the world today, dedicated to bringing new levels of innovation and excitement to our Indian customers by designing, developing and producing cars in India tailored to their needs."

 

Adding to this, Nitish Tipnis, Director – Sales & Marketing, Hover Automotive India (National Sales Company for Nissan) said, “Constant innovation and product enhancement has been an integral part of our strategy at Nissan and our products reflect that seamlessly. The feature enhancements, based on customer feedback make Evalia even more comfortable and delightful in addition to its class leading fuel economy.”

While the USB-capable stereo and sliding rear windows come factory-fitted, the roof-mounted AC blower is a dealer fitment.

The additional features mean the prices of the Evalia have increased slightly. Nissan has also expanded the range, with the addition of more variants, to increase the appeal of the Evalia to a wider range of customers. The revised prices of the refreshed Nissan Evalia are as follows:

XE : INR 8.78 lakh
XE+ : INR 9.22 lakh
XL : INR 9.80 lakh
XL Option : INR 10.05 lakh
XV : INR 10.48 lakh
XV Option : 10.73 lakh
